Geography

The Village of Briercrest is located forty minutes away from Saskatchewan's Capital City, Regina, and a mere twenty-five minutes away from Moose Jaw. Briercrest is joined to the TransCanada Highway by Highway #339.

Attractions
One of Saskatchewan's best golf courses, Long Creek Golf & Country Club, is a mere twenty minutes away. Briercrest is near Buffalo Pound Provincial Park. Activities here include camping, boating, sailing, swimming, and fishing. Dunnet Regional Park is twenty minutes outside of Briercrest. Swimming, boating, fishing, camping, and ball diamonds are available.


Briercrest features many amenities that provide opportunities for recreation. Curling, hockey, and figure skating are popular and take place in modern facilities with artificial ice. Softball, volleyball, and dancing are also popular among residents. Outdoor enthusiasts will enjoy ATV treks in summer and snowmobiling in winter.


Briercrest School serves as one of the community's finest amenities. It is a modern building with excellent teacher to student ratios. It has a state-of-the-art modern computer lab,a well-equipped gymnasium,outdoor tennis courts and a new playground. There are special education services, including work education.

Briercrest has a number of service clubs including Lions, 4-H, and an Arts and Crafts Society.

We are also proud of our First Responders team, who provide a variety of services within our community.

Just a short drive from Briercrest (eight miles) takes you to the Claybank Brick Plant, which is a national heritage site of Canada.
