Macrorie

Geography

Macrorie is located 20 kilometres (kms) south of Outlook on Highway 45, in between Outlook and Gardiner Dam/Lake Diefenbaker. It is 10 minutes from Lake Diefenbaker, near Danielson Provincial Park and Coldwell Provincial Park and only 6 kms west of the South Saskatchewan River.

History
Macrorie was founded in 1911.

Economic Information
The population of Macrorie is 96. Macrorie and District Co-operative Association has bulk fuel, gas station, grocery, fishing & tackle supplies, farm and cattle supplies, and post office. Hotel, cafe, fitness centre, museum.
