| Geography |  The Village of Neilburg is located 60 miles west of the Town of Battleford on Highway #40.
| | History | Neilburg began to take shape in 1908 with the establishment of a Post Office operating on the rural homestead of Mr. Clifford O'Neil. Seventeen years later, in 1923, the Hamlet of Neilburg was formed. Like many rural communities of the time, growth was strongly influenced by the routing of the CPR railroad and in 1947 the Hamlet of Neilburg advanced to a Village.
| | Economic Information | Neilburg is a prosperous community with a population of 366. Approximately 50 small businesses operate in the Village. Agriculture, oil and gas are the area's main industries.
| | Attractions | In 1999, crop circles were found near Neilburg. While swathing his wheat field, a local farmer discovered the formations. The farmer reported that the mysterious formations were not evidenced during the prior month when he was spraying the same field. The configuration includes a central circle 45 feet in diameter and is flanked by three arcing arms of smaller circles. There are a total of eleven circles. The size of the entire formations is 185 feet, north to south.
Manitou Pioneers Museum features a collection of native artifacts and other historical objects used by pioneer families in the area. Exhibits include an archetypal dining room, hospital antiques, and blacksmith tools. The community plans to expand the museum with the refurbishing of an early period church.
Manitou Lake, located 8 miles from Neilburg, is a major summer attraction. The resort offers campsites, ball diamonds, and a 9-hole sand, green golf course.
Neilburg Mud Drags is an annual auto event that draws modified and customized vehicles from all over Western Canada. Visitors are entertained by a variety of classes and events.
