| History | Incorporated in 1909, the nine-township municipality encompasses the Villages of Eyebrow, where the Municipal Office is located, and Brownlee, as well as the communities of Lake Valley, Eskbank, Darmody, and Mawer.
| | Economic Information | Most of the 318 residents of the Rural Municipality (RM) of Eyebrow #193 are engaged in farming, primarily grain and oilseed production with some livestock operations along the north side and southwest area of the RM. The assessment of the municipality is $26 million of agricultural land. The Municipality is home to deer, antelope, and waterfowl, which attract hunters from all over North America.
Six councillors, a reeve, and an administrator manage the affairs of the Municipality. Many members of Council have served more than ten years; and most of the Public Works staff are long-time employees.
