History
Incorporated in 1909, the nine-township municipality encompasses the Villages of Eyebrow, where the Municipal Office is located, and Brownlee, as well as the communities of Lake Valley, Eskbank, Darmody, and Mawer.

Economic Information
Most of the 318 residents of the Rural Municipality (RM) of Eyebrow #193 are engaged in farming, primarily grain and oilseed production with some livestock operations along the north side and southwest area of the RM. The assessment of the municipality is $26 million of agricultural land. The Municipality is home to deer, antelope, and waterfowl, which attract hunters from all over North America.

Six councillors, a reeve, and an administrator manage the affairs of the Municipality. Many members of Council have served more than ten years; and most of the Public Works staff are long-time employees.
