The Rural Municipality (RM) of Baildon lies south of the RM of Moose Jaw. Highway #2 runs through the RM from north to south, then branches off into Highway 36 at the southern end of the RM.
Economic Information
The economy of the RM is mainly based on agriculture production. We also have a Fibreglass and Autobody Shop that employ people of the RM. Most other services are provided in Moose Jaw or Briercrest.
Attractions
The Baildon Hutterite Colony provides Elementary Schooling. Secondary and post-secondary institutions are located in Moose Jaw. Community halls are located in Crestwynd, Quincy, Red Lake, Newberry, and Baildon. There are three baseball diamonds in the RM. Heritage sites include the Sukanen Ship Pioneer Village and Museum, which hosts the annual Threshing Bee.
