The Rural Municipality (RM) of Lomond No. 37 is located in South Central Saskatchewan, just south of the City of Weyburn. The municipality is a standard nine-township municipality. Highway No. 35 runs north and south throughout, with the '705 Grid' running east and west across the municipality.
The municipality is in close proximity to three regional parks - Nickle Lake to the north, Mainprize to the east, and Oungre Memorial to the south.
The topography of the municipality is generally flat with the exception of the Missouri Coteau hills lying just west of the municipality and a small section called 'The Valley of the Rocks', on the very east side of the RM.
The Hamlet of Colgate and the Village of Goodwater are both located within the municipality.
